Terra Terra is a reportage project that crosses the Apennini mountains at a human pace.

With the aim of following the slow rhythm of life along the mountain ridge, traveling on foot becomes a way to echo a time shaped not only by humans, but first and foremost by nature.

Through the rural communities we encountered along the journey, we will tell the story of the land, the people who inhabit it, their relationship with animals, and their life choices. Those who have returned to the land and those who have never left it.

Traveling on foot allowed us to embrace and share the rhythms and routines favored by life on the land, accompanying the protagonists through their days and various activities. We followed the perspectives of young people and new generations, raised far from the city, with all the privileges and challenges that come with it.

Through photography and writing, we will trace a common thread connecting all these inhabitants of the Apennini mountains, starting from Colle di Cadibona in Liguria, passing through Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Abruzzo, and Molise, and finally reaching Calabria.
