Analogic

Analog photography has been a training ground, that helped me to sharpen my eye, my photographic technique, and my ability to read light. One day, while rummaging through my bedroom closets without really knowing what I was looking for, I stumbled upon a Minolta XG2, forgotten there by my father who knows how many years earlier. I decided to restore it and start shooting.

Today, I dedicate analog black and white photography to personal exploration, to journeys, dreams, and to the unknown. I’m drawn to the idea of creating spaces of surrender, where the when and where become irrelevant, allowing one to be carried into those uncharted caves that lie between the eye, the mind, and the heart.
