Babatunde

When Babatunde from Lagos arrived in Montemarciano, Italy, in 2015, the Table Tennis team was in the B2 league. That same year, they won the championship, and under his technical guidance, the club grew and began to realistically dream of a place in the top division. Nicolò, a young talent of the team, closely followed the teachings of the Nigerian coach, becoming the ace up their sleeve for the future. They would have to wait until 2020, the year they secured access to the A2 league.It was not just a collective success for the entire club but also a significant personal achievement. Babatunde could now step onto the field alongside the team, leading Montemarciano in the quest for the title and a promotion never before achieved in the club’s history.
